Exar Kun - The Dark Lord of the Sith

Exar Kun is one of the most powerful and tragic figures in Star Wars Legends, a fallen Jedi who became a Dark Lord of the Sith approximately 4,000 years before the Battle of Yavin.

His Fall to the Dark Side

Exar Kun was originally a promising Jedi Knight, a talented and ambitious student of Master Vodo-Siosk Baas. His thirst for forbidden knowledge led him to research ancient Sith teachings, believing he could study the dark side without being corrupted by it. This arrogance proved to be his downfall.

He traveled to the Sith worlds, particularly Korriban and Yavin 4, where he discovered ancient Sith artifacts and temples. On Yavin 4, he encountered the spirit of the ancient Sith Lord Freedon Nadd, who manipulated Kun further into darkness.
