Darth Vader's hilt is one of the most studied props in cinema history — and collectors who know it know that the ANH and ESB versions are meaningfully different weapons. The MPP 3.0 is available in both configurations, each reproduced to the specific screen-accurate details that distinguish them.

The MPP (3.0) is a machined metal recreation of Darth Vader's lightsaber, available in A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back variants. Choose the version that matches your display.

What's Included Every version ships with the hilt and all standard hardware. The installed version includes a NeoPixel blade, rechargeable battery, and charger.

ANH vs ESB — What's Different

The two variants are distinct in several key ways:

Grip Configuration — The ANH version features 7 shorter grips with a gap between the grips and the clamp. The ESB version has 6 longer grips that extend all the way to the activation box.

Emitter Windows — The ESB version includes colored wires (blue, brown, grey, red) inserted into the emitter windows. The ANH version does not.

Clamp & Lever — The ANH hilt features a clamp lever. The ESB version has the lever removed, with the clamp positioned closer to the grips.

Pommel — The ESB version includes a Kobold clip with a D-ring on the pommel. The ANH version does not.

Sidebars — The ESB hilt has black sidebars. The ANH version has silver sidebars.

Weathering — The ANH finish is cleaner. The ESB finish reflects the more heavily weathered, rust-worn look the prop developed post-production.

Crystal Chamber (Installed Only) — The installed version of both variants features a crystal reveal chassis.
